The MU Student Center serves as a community center on the University of Missouri campus, providing quality facilities, services and conveniences for all the students, faculty, staff and guests of the University. Dear Missouri Student Unions Customer:
Due to rising costs for staff, furniture and equipment, the Unions will be increasing the hourly rates for departments to rent meeting space as of July 1, 2020. The current small and medium meeting room rate of $6 per hour will now be $6.25 per hour. The rate for auditoriums and large conference rooms will increase from $25 per hour to $26 per hour. Recognized student organizations are exempt from this policy as student fees pay for their portion of the space they use.
This rate increase will allow the Unions to continue to offer excellent space for campus events. The rates are set at amounts so that the Unions cover their costs, but do not make a profit. All reservations currently confirmed in the reservation system will be held at the old rates.
As noted in our room reservation policies, the Missouri Student Unions will continue to offer preset room configurations for our spaces. Should you request a special setup outside of the current preset room configurations, an additional reset fee will be charged to cover our labor costs.
