Our closed captioning system consists of two 32″ televisions on tall stands, all appropriate cabling, and a laptop computer with audio feed to connect to the captioning service!

The captioning service we use is 2020 Captioning, who charges $95 per hour, in addition to our equipment rental charge. 2020 Captioning will invoice you separately from Technical Event Services.

Requirements for closed captioning rental:

• 30 days of notice for captioning requests
• All written scripts, introductions, and names of all persons that you know will be speaking at least a week prior to your event
• Any media such as videos, images, or presentations a least a week prior to your event
• 30 minutes of testing with the captioning service prior to doors opening to your event

In some cases it is possible to use venue resources to display the closed captioning, this will vary from venue to venue, please contact us to discuss the possibility of using venue resources for closed captioning.
